Dear Friends,
The United Way Campaign is now underway and we are working extremely hard toward our 2007-2008 goal of $310,000. The motto
this year: “Our Community Helping Itself!”
I am very excited and committed in my service as Chairman of this campaign. A campaign that is vital in funding 39 programs, in 33 agencies,
here in Clinton County.
The United Way of Clinton County and its many volunteers appreciate your past support and look forward to your continued support,
as many of our residents continue to need our assistance in enhancing their quality of life. Remember that 99% of your donations stay right
here in Clinton County where they are utilized by programs that help our young, our elderly and those that are in crisis. Your participation
helps these local agencies continue to thrive and foster the people we see in our communities’ everyday. As you know, these agencies/programs
depend on United Way funding for a portion, if not their entire annual budget. Your annual gifts have made, and will continue to make, an
enriching difference in the lives of so many!
In the event that you may have misplaced the original brochure, which was sent previously, I have enclosed another copy with a pledge card
for your use. I hope that you find it in your heart to review the information and continue your valued support with a generous gift to the
2007-2008 annual campaign. Your gifts are essential building blocks for the continued growth and prosperity for many Clinton County
residents of all ages.
It has been a privilege and an honor to work side by side and to communicate with so many wonderful people. Supporting such a worthwhile
campaign brings out the true spirit in all of us, a spirit of love and caring for those in need. On behalf of all the programs supported by the
United Way of Clinton County, I again would like to THANK YOU for your caring and continued support!
Sincerely,
Billy Arehart
Campaign Chairman 2007-2008
United Way of Clinton County
