At XYZ company we care about our community where we live and work.  That means a commitment to being a good neighbor and to caring about each other, particularly in times of need.

We again have the opportunity to demonstrate our community spirit and leadership through a United Way campaign.  Management wholeheartedly endorses this once a year campaign for support of the United Way agencies and programs through the donations of our time and money.

These human care services are helping not only sick, disadvantaged or handicapped folks, but also average families who face unexpected problems or require professional help to meet basic needs.

What really sets United Way apart, however is the broad cross section of local citizen-volunteers decides how the contributions will be used to the community’s best advantage.  It’s one of the most open, honest fair and equitable systems ever devised.

I am proud of the past support our employees have given to United Way.  Now it is time to make our commitment for the 2002-2003 campaign.  Our employee campaign is scheduled to begin____________.  Please remember that your financial contributions are needed in our community and your thoughtful consideration of making a first-time pledge or increasing your gift is much appreciated.
